Ways To Get Involved

We love alumni involvement at ESD.

Are you interested in ways to get involved? Below are some easy ways to engage with ESD and support your alma mater. We hope to see you soon!

Be a Resource: affinity and alliance groups

We are looking for ESD alumni who would be willing to serve as a resource to student affinity and alliance groups at ESD. We are excited to be able to offer alumni the opportunity to support our current students and members of our affinity and alliance groups and are eager to partner with you on this important work. When you fill out the form, your contact information will be shared with the sponsor(s) of the group(s) you indicated you'd like to be a resource for. Thank you for supporting our community.

If you would like to be a resource to one or many of our student groups, please complete this form.

Be a Mentor: students and young alumni

We are looking for ESD alumni who would be willing to serve as a mentor to current ESD juniors and seniors and young alumni based on industry and/or the college you attended. We are excited to build a mentorship list that upper school students who participate in the WORX program and young alumni will have limited access to. By opting in, you consent to being contacted by a current student or young alum that would like to learn more about your industry or the college you attended. Thank you for supporting our community.

If you'd like your name to be added to our mentorship list, please submit this form

Learn about the ESD Alumni Board

The ESD Alumni Board of Directors, comprised of 30 alumni ranging in the class of 1985 to the class of 2016, is here to serve you and the entire ESD Alumni Association. The Episcopal School of Dallas Alumni Association exists to perpetuate the mission, founding tenets, traditions, and culture of The Episcopal School of Dallas. In conjunction with the Director of Alumni Relations and Gift Officer, the Development Department, and the School, this working board continues to elevate alumni relations and programing year after year.

Support The ESD Fund

Thank you to the many alumni who have made their gifts to The ESD Fund this fiscal year. If you have not, please consider making your gift in support of our school before June 30, 2021. Alumni gifts to The ESD Fund directly impact teachers and students. Help us take care of faculty and staff and cast the widest net possible for future Eagles.

Assist with WORX interviews and partnerships

The ESD Alumni Association is excited to join the ESD Dads' Partnership in supporting the ESD WORX Internship Program for rising seniors again this year. WORX is a unique program that provides real world experience to our future alumni, while helping them identify what academic and career paths they may want to pursue after leaving ESD. It also teaches our rising seniors some of the "do's and don'ts" of the job application and interview process. With over 3,000 alumni in a wide range of professions, it is our hope to have the opportunity to place our rising seniors into summer internships that will help them learn and mature. The actual internships will only take place if it is safe and smart to do so, but we will still host virtual interviews to give these future alumni that experience.

The Partnership anticipates applications from over 90% of the Class of 2022. WORX needs our help to virtually interview these students and hopefully place them in summer internships. I encourage you to consider becoming an ESD WORX Interviewer and/or Partner through your company or network of business associates.

Interviews took place via Zoom on January 23, January 30, and February 6.

The key to the program is getting the students in a workplace environment - there is no job too small. Paid or unpaid, from a week to the whole summer, WORX is very flexible in terms of job requirements. Please help us help ESD students today. We want to have all partners in place should we be able to host summer internships. Click here to become a WORX Partner.
