Eastin Family WORX Internship Program

The Eastin Family WORX Internship Program provides qualified students opportunities for personal development, career awareness, life-skills mentoring, and invaluable exposure to fields of interest.

WORX

Managed by ESD's Office of College Guidance with generous support from the Dads’ Partnership, who founded the program in 2014, and the Alumni Association, WORX matches rising seniors to summer internship opportunities. WORX Partners are actively involved in a wide array of local businesses. Students are accepted into the program by demonstrating readiness and completing the application and interview process.

The WORX Program is the product of a very strong community effort within ESD. The responses seen here are a great testament to the uppermost quality of our students and the WORX Partners (employers) within the program. We cannot thank our partners enough for this incredible gift to our students. WORX defines WIN/WIN/WIN.

WORX Industry Panels

In April 2021, the WORX Internship Program launched ESD WORX Industry Panels, where juniors and seniors have the opportunity to hear from leaders across a variety of industries. Each year, the WORX Committee plans to host panels highlighting three different industries. These panels will serve as remarkable resources for ESD students for years to come as they will be recorded and made available for future classes.

For the inaugural event, students from the Class of 2021 and 2022 had the opportunity to hear from professionals in the fields of business, health care, and law. You can view each of the recorded panels from the event below.
