The Tuition Assistance calculator is a tool to help families understand the range of assistance that is available in certain circumstances. The examples will not necessarily be accurate estimates of individual awards depending on specific information. Examples of circumstances that impact the tuition assistance decision include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Additional children in schools which charge tuition.
• Medical expenses or special needs support costs.
• Elder or other family member care responsibilities.
• Changes in income or employment status.
• Significant savings, investments, or trust funds.
• Lifestyle choices including cars, vacations, homes, or summer camps.
• History of receiving support from relatives or others.
