Celebrating the Cornerstones of Our Community
March 20, 2024
Since 1974, ESD faculty and staff have been Igniting Lives of Purpose one child at a time. As our nest continues to grow, we honor those who dedicated their life’s work to inspiring others and shaping our future leaders.
This year marks the 13th annual Eagle Laureate Dinner, an event hosted by the Alumni Association that recognizes faculty and staff who have served ESD for 20 or more years and commends individuals with the Inspirit Accolade Award for perpetuating the founding tenets of ESD during their tenure.
Created in 2011 by two ESD alumni and parents, Alan Neuhoff ’89 and Carol Carlock Vig ’89, the Eagle Laureate Dinner consists of a cocktail reception, seated dinner, and an evening program that highlights tenured faculty and staff, along with recipients of the Inspirit Accolade Award. Individuals recognized at the event are then inducted into the Keri Scholtz Hall ’87 Convocation for their service at ESD.
To date, 128 faculty and staff members have been inducted, and this year’s ceremony will welcome eight new inductees to the Convocation: Ashley Beck, Julie Clardy, Amy Henderson, Susie Kissner, Amy Livingston, Shelle Montgomery, Lisa Rusnak, and Pedro Salazar. The 2024 Inspirit Accolade Honorees, Dan Boatwright and Scott Goetsch, will also be honored for exemplifying the founding tenets of ESD and profoundly impacting the lives of countless students.
