The ESD Libraries provide a wide array of resources in welcoming, innovative, and flexible common spaces for the purpose of supporting and encouraging the exploration of interest and the pursuit of passions in accordance with ESD's Mission and Educational Philosophy. The libraries work to prepare students to be lifelong, informed, and ethical creators and consumers of information, to foster a love of information seeking, and to provide an introduction to a variety of diverse types and styles of literature, storytelling, and information sources. |

Lower School Library
The lower school library program is a vibrant program that focuses on early and emergent print and media literacies.
The Lower School Library serves students from age 3 to fourth grade and is infused throughout the entire lower school building to encourage students to think, create, share, and grow in every part of the school.
Gill Library
Our goal is to uphold the school's tradition of igniting lives of purpose through the development of an education conscience.
The Gill Library, an information center for middle and upper school students and all staff and faculty, strives to meet both curricular and recreational resource needs while encouraging all individuals to become independent, lifelong learners and readers.

Visiting Authors Program
To promote a culture of reading and engaged learning, the ESD Libraries are proud to enhance student learning by welcoming nationally known authors, writers, illustrators, and more to our campus. Through our Visiting Authors Program, students can meet their favorite authors and engage with real-world writers in a way that encourages kids to read more, fostering a culture of engaged students who are excited about reading and learning.
