A Message from the Co-Chairs
We are honored and thrilled to be the co-chairs for Our Time to Soar - A Campaign for The Episcopal School of Dallas, in celebration of ESD's 50th anniversary. Driven by the school's ambitious culture, the campaign's goal of $50,000,000 for endowment reflects the school’s upward trajectory while investing significantly in people and programs, assuring robust educational experiences for each student.
As we reflect on ESD’s progress in the last 50 years, we are reminded of the school’s mission statement of igniting lives of purpose through the development of an educated conscience. This forward-thinking statement captured the ambitions of ESD 50 years ago, but like any good mission statement, it still holds true today.
As we look toward the future and the next 50 years for ESD, now is the time to build the school’s endowment to become the financial bedrock, which will strengthen and enhance our ability to meet the changing needs of students and faculty, future-proof our curriculum, and retain our place as a thought leader in the Dallas community and beyond.
The campaign focuses on three important pillars:
A healthy endowment provides a permanent resource through generating an annual income stream for today while providing the economic sustaining power for the long term. Thanks to generous support from visionary parents, grandparents, alumni and friends, ESD’s endowment has had a solid start, but now is the time to make investments in the next 50 years and secure the school’s financial sustainability.
We strongly believe in the aims of the Our Time to Soar campaign. Our families, along with many other families, alumni and friends have supported capital projects to enhance ESD. This new endowment campaign is particularly special, as you can make a transformational impact on ESD and leave a legacy that will endure for generations to come. When successful, ESD’s endowment and resources will place the school firmly among the top 100 independent schools in the United States.
Our families are deeply devoted to ESD and its mission, and that is why we have personally invested in the Our Time to Soar campaign. We hope you will join us and consider supporting this important initiative.
